Cirka is a leading provider of cleaning services, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality and reliable cleaning solutions to various industries.

We will soon begin providing our services to the Brisbane Racing Club across their 2 iconic venues: the Doomben and Eagle Farm Racecourses. To support this new client coming onboard, we are seeking a committed and experienced cleaning professional to join us as the Team Leader for the 2 venues.

The position         

• Full Time Grade 2 Team Leader
• Monday to Friday from 6:00AM to 2:00PM with occasional weekend Raceday shifts
• Work with the Venue Presentation Manager to ensure a high-quality cleaning service is delivered across both venues.

As the Team Leader you will be responsible for coordinating the work of Grade 1 Cleaners on site, being the first point of contact with our client and ensuring a high-quality service is delivered for them. You will also have your own cleaning duties to attend to. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Attend daily briefings with client, Venue Presentation Manager and other contractors working onsite.
• Completing equipment checks and reporting any issues to the Venue Presentation Manager.
• Complete quality inspections and provide feedback to cleaning staff.
• Train and support new and existing cleaning staff on site.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate that you are a team player with strong customer service skills, an ability to follow directions and also work autonomously. Previous team leader or supervisory experience is essential, with experience working in the events industry being desirable.
