
Recruiter/Workforce Planning Assistant, South Yarra & Flemington Racecourse, VIC (Fixed Term, July - Nov)

We are a leading provider of venue and events cleaning services and are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Recruitment & Workforce Planning Assistants with excellent communication skills to join our Victorian team on a fixed term basis. As this position will be focused on recruitment support for our major events, flexibility in working hours is essential.
To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate that you are a team player with a strong ability to think on your feet, follow directions and work autonomously. Experience in recruitment is not essential as all training to complete your role effectively and safely will be provided.
Requirements
- Full Time work rights.
- Medium - high English level.
- Available to work Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and outside regular hours during the events.
- Some experience in Administrative roles.
Some essential skills for this role:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Strong computer skills, experience of Microsoft Office suite.
- Must be available to work during events outside regular hours.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the recruitment team with the processing of high volume of applicants.
- Coordinating onboarding of staff including collection and follow-up on documentation, signed contracts etc.
- Liasing with other members of recruitment and event operations teams.
- Utilising job boards and social media to promote our positions.
- Production of marketing materials such as flyers to showcase open roles.
- Supporting workforce planning / sign on before events or on event days.
- Assisting the events management team with the scheduling and rostering of staff.
This position is currently being offered on a fixed term basis from July 21st to November 14th. From July 21st to August 8th the role will be positioned in South Yarra with a focus on recruitment. From August 11th to November 14th the role will be based at Cirka Operations Office (Flemington Racecourse) with a focus on workforce planning for major events.
