We are a leading provider of cleaning services and are currently looking for reliable, hardworking and motivated team members with great communication skills to join our team at La Trobe University in Bundoora (Plenty Rd, Bundoora VIC 3086).

The role:

• Full-Time contract
• 38 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Start date: October 2026

Two shifts available:

• 6:00am to 2:00pm
• 8:00am to 4:00pm

Areas of work:

Depending on the area you are assigned to, your responsibilities may include cleaning either Academic areas or Accommodation areas.

• Academic areas: Cleaning classrooms, teaching spaces, offices, common areas and other university facilities used by students and staff. This may include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying bins and maintaining a clean and presentable environment throughout the university.
• Accommodation areas: Cleaning residential rooms and shared areas within student accommodation. This may include cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, common areas and other residential facilities to ensure they are clean, hygienic and ready for students.

Requirements:

• Police Check (must be valid within the last 12 months)
• Working with Children Check – Employee
• Good communication skills
• Cleaning experience preferably
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work Monday to Friday on one of the available shifts

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate that you are a team player with a strong customer service approach and the ability to follow directions and work autonomously.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a high standard of cleaning across assigned areas.
• Completing vacuuming, waste removal, dusting, mopping and washroom cleaning.
• Cleaning classrooms, offices, common areas and/or residential accommodation areas, depending on your assigned area.
• Following instructions from your Supervisor/Manager.
• Working in a safe manner that does not disrupt students, staff or other university users.
• Completing equipment checks.
• Reporting any cleaning, maintenance or safety issues to your Supervisor/Manager.
• Providing a professional and friendly service to students, staff and visitors.
